Boston College is based in the traditional
English market town of Boston, a small, quiet, rural town
with a population of around 50,000 people. It is about 100
miles from London. Boston is located on the East coast of
Lincolnshire in an area of rich farmland. Each year Boston
College welcomes over 150 international students. These students
come from over 20 different countries across the world. They
mix well together as a group and with our 1,500 British students
too. Boston College has a good reputation in British education.
All state colleges are inspected regularly by a British government
agency.Boston is a traditional English market town in an area
of farming land. It has a fascinating history and many attractive
buildings. Boston is the administrative centre
for the surrounding area, so it has a wide range of shopping,
entertainment and sports facilities. It is a safe and pleasant
town in which to study.
There are good links to
some of the larger cities in England. Lincoln, Peterborough
and Nottingham are within about an hour's drive. London can
be reached in less than two hours by train.
