Teresa Zong

Boston College's A' level department was celebrated as one of its students learnt that she has been offered a place at one of the world's oldest and most respected educational institutions - Cambridge University !
Lijun Zong (Teresa), age 18 from Shanghai has been accepted by Newnham College, Cambridge University to study Mechanical Engineering. She was studied A' Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics in Boston College. When asked how difficult she is finding her studies, Teresa said: "I am finding my English lessons harder than the Maths and Physics. My tutors are really nice and are helping me. I am really enjoying my time at Boston College." Her tutor, Tina Favell said: " Teresa has worked extremely hard and has been a pleasure to teach. I am delighted she has achieved her lifelong ambition to go to Cambridge University.


Stanley Yeung



Stanley Yeung from Hong Kong is facing a difficult decision. ¡§I was hoping to study Experimental Psychology at Oxford but have also been offered a music scholarship for one of London¡¦s leading Music Academies, so I now have to choose where to go from College. Boston College has been very supportive of both my areas of interest; the teaching staff here are great.¡¨


Patricia He



Patricia He is from China and this year took part in the UK Senior Mathematics Challenge where she was awarded a gold certificate coming in the top 6% of Mathematics achievers in the UK.


Crystal Wang



Crystal Wang is from South China and studying A Levels in Mathematics and Media Studies. ¡§I was attracted to Boston College because it offers the range of courses I wanted to study. Boston is a good place to study, the people here are very friendly.


Simi Hipp



Simi Hipp is studying for a BTEC in Travel and Tourism ¡§I was attracted to Boston College because it has a good reputation for supporting its International Students. I am living in the Halls of Residence here which is great as there are lots of opportunities to join in social activities with other International students.¡¨ Simi has recently gained an offer of employment as Cabin Crew for Lufthansa.


Jerry Fuady



Jerry Fuady is from Indonesia and following his A Levels is hoping to take Biotechnology at Cambridge University. At Boston College I have been able to meet many people from very different backgrounds and have made lots of new friends. Being at College away from home has also helped me become independent.¡¨


Daniel Ji

Daniel joined the college in September 2004 to study A-levels and originates from shenzhen in China. "I came to Boston because of the standard of teaching at the College. I previously went to an independent school in England and found it hard to settle so decided to move here instead because it semeed very friendly." said Daniel "Once I finished my A-levels I have been offered a place at Bath University to study architecture." Daniel has been successful in gaining a Gold Award in the UK Maths Challenge for two consecutive years - raning among the top 7% of Maths achievers in the UK.
