If you would like to improve your English,
make new friends with other international students,
and have fun meeting English people then Boston College
is the place of you.
Improve your English
You will improve your English Language skills during
the 16 hours of teaching each week. You will cover all
aspects of the English Language; reading, writing, listening
speaking. Classes are small, usually 8 - 10 in a group,
so you will get lots of individual attention from our
excellent teachers. These classes are held in the mornings,
leaving lots of time in the afternoon for trips and
social activities.
Have fun, relax and explore!
You will be taken to some of the most famous and popular
cultural centres in England. For example - London, Cambridge
and York. Let the teachers know at the start of the
Summer School course if there is a special place you
would like to go and they will try to arrange it. Join
in activities such as bowling, swimming or the cinema.
Use some of your free time to explore the historic town
of Boston and to visit the local market shops.
Stay with a local family
All students live with a local family during Summer
School. This gives you more time to practice your English
and to learn about English culture and customs.
