| Each year Boston College welcomes over 150 students from some twenty different countries around the world and has an established reputation in international education. There are excellent relationships between students and staff and an extensive, caring student welfare service for international students.
Boston College is proud to have received accreditation from the Association of Colleges in the United Kingdom, for its International Student Support, being winner of the Beacon Award in November 2006. This award is sponsored by the British Council and has so far been awarded to a small number of Colleges around the UK. Boston College is also accredited by the British Council for its English as a Foreign Language courses.
